Originally inspired by Tanghulu — the iconic sugar-coated fruit dessert loved across Asia — our early concept celebrated the idea of “glass skin.”

Tanghulu’s crystal-clear shine became the metaphor for luminous, healthy skin. Our first line, Glass Skin Tanghulu, reflected that vision.

As we evolved, so did our formulas and our voice — but the pursuit of radiant, healthy skin remains the same.

Founder Hye Young Kim created the brand with one mission: to build cross-generational skincare rooted in healthy habits.

Hi, I’m Hye — Olivia’s mom.

The idea for OLIVIAUMMA began when a young girl struggling with hormonal acne asked me about Korean skincare. As someone from Seoul — the heart of K-beauty — and with a background in fashion, I was often asked for advice.

But in that moment, I realized something important: there wasn’t a single collection I could confidently recommend across generations and skin types.

So I decided to build one.

In a saturated market, OLIVIAUMMA was created to deliver high-efficacy Korean skincare with joyful design inspired by Miami — products that elevate your bathroom shelf and your daily ritual.
